I think you'll like this episode of Silver Bullet, which is a bit off the beaten path.  In it, I interview Daniel Suarez, the author of a once self-published and now-optioned-for-a-movie techno-thriller "The Deamon."  Daniel brought me a copy of his book this summer, just in time for "no fly July" when I also read "accelerando" and  "halting state."  There are some astounding ideas for distributed emergent attacks in here...
